Ashley and her family are just amazing. Not only were her kids so well behaved and that was after an hour long trip to the location. Everyone was so excited and I know they are just ecstatic to bring another little one into their family. I know I can't wait for his newborn session!
I just love getting the opportunity to travel to gorgeous locations and make your vision for your session come to life. If you have an idea in mind I would love to work with you to make it happen.

Such an amazing mom to work with. I loved getting to know Monica. Simone too of course. Simone was a little doll. Her dark colored hair and eyebrows were the cutest. I loved mom requested mainly greens and neutrals. I haven’t used green for a girl in a while so it reminded me how much I love babies in all the colors. Looking at these photographs, she looks so tiny. At their ordering session I could even tell she looked bigger than before. She made the cutest faces. I don’t blame them for getting all of them. Monica had no problem choosing her favorites because she wanted them all. It means a lot to me to hear about the experience my clients have. Hearing thank you for everything, they are perfect, or everything was perfect makes my whole day. Feeling appreciated by the little things in my business is what keeps me going.
Monica felt so comfortable, we talked most of her session. I love when parents feel comfortable to open up and chat. When you are parents, you have to find those adult conversations when you can. I can definitely relate so I loved hearing her stories. Every one has a story of their own. I definitely ask questions during the session but that’s because I want to get to know my clients on a deeper level. I could tell she is just over the moon for sweet Simone.
I'm always honored when a fellow photographer chooses me to capture their memories. It was a blast catching up with my dear friend while doing their beautiful session. It was long overdo. The lighting was so perfect that day. The wind was awful but you can hardly tell with how much fun we had. We drove quite a ways to catch the sunset. We couldn’t get over how beautiful it was. The evening was filled with laughter and hip bumps. You can see the smile between the cousins. They enjoyed playing around while I got to capture real life moments. You see the real bond between the family when it’s not posed. Plus, we all know it’s hard for children to stand still for a lengthy period. They did not hesitate when I asked them to hug mom's neck.
I can’t wait to see these in gorgeous canvas products. It makes me feel like Christmas is here when I get to open them. It’s even better when I get to see my client’s reaction to their heirlooms. Sometimes you might wonder, when will I get another family session? When will life slow down? While time is steadily passing us by, photographs freeze time. Trust me, I know that is cheesy to say but I truly mean it. Between the newborn session and senior photographs, how many times will you actually get family photographs done? The answer is probably a low number. The time in between matters too. Before you know it, they are grown. I hear my clients talking about it often at the studio. You deserve to capture the time in between as well. I never really understood why family photographs aren’t valued as much. I make it a goal to get at least one new family session each year. I love seeing how much can change in just a year. You can even make poses a tradition to see the difference. Don’t wait until they are grown.
